About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (AI/ML) to join our innovative team at Nyxium. This remote position allows you to work on cutting-edge AI and geospatial intelligence platforms that support critical infrastructure projects. As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and owning Nyxium’s core application and ML integration layer.

What You'll Do

  • Design and build backend services that integrate AI and ML workflows into production systems.
  • Develop APIs and orchestration layers that ensure AI outputs are traceable and suitable for audit.
  • Implement intelligent workflows for regulatory documentation and compliance evidence tracking.
  • Build and maintain user-facing applications that expose complex AI outputs in clear, actionable ways.
  • Collaborate on frontend architecture using modern frameworks like React and Next.js.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, or ML-enabled systems.
  • Strong Python experience in production systems and familiarity with FastAPI or Flask.
  • Hands-on experience integrating ML or LLM systems into real applications.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, schema design, and data pipelines.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with geospatial data or spatial platforms.
  • Background in developer experience or platform engineering.
