Senior Full Stack Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer - Remote to join eXp Realty, a pioneering company in the real estate sector. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing innovative solutions that enhance the real estate journey for users across multiple markets.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable products using React and TypeScript on the frontend, and Node.js on the backend, with Python as an asset.
• Build and maintain robust APIs and backend services, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, integrating AWS services such as S3 and relational databases.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and improve development workflows using tools like Jenkins.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decision-making.
• Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Contribute to operational excellence, including monitoring and performance tuning.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge through documentation and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong full-stack background.
• Proven experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and React, with Python as a valuable asset.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Strong understanding of API design best practices, including RESTful approaches.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and familiarity with CI/CD tools.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with mobile development frameworks such as React Native.
• Familiarity with search and indexing platforms like Elasticsearch.
• Exposure to serverless architectures and AWS Lambda.
