About the Role
We’re hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer Team Lead to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity for a fluent Chinese speaker to relocate to Iraq and lead a talented development team. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you'll take ownership of building and managing a Middle East-based development team, shaping the future of a tech-forward organization.
What You'll Do
- Act as the Full-Stack Development subject matter expert across the business.
- Build, manage, and lead a high-performing development team based in the Middle East.
- Lead the end-to-end development of scalable web applications and backend systems.
- Set technical direction, code standards, and best practices for the development team.
- Collaborate with product teams to align development efforts.
- Design architecture for both front-end and back-end systems that support real-time solutions.
- Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and foster a collaborative engineering culture.
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of all developed applications.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the tech stack and development processes.
- Report directly to executive leadership and provide regular updates on project progress and technical performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Full-Stack Development.
- Fluent Chinese speaker – essential for business operations.
- Willing and able to relocate to Iraq – full relocation support provided.
- Experience leading or managing development teams, with the ability to build from scratch.
- Strong knowledge of both front-end (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and back-end (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java) technologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS), and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice to Have
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
