Modules Production Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Modules Production Manager to join Avantium, a leader in sustainable chemistry solutions. This remote Modules Production Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the production of innovative chemical testing modules. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and manufacturability of our products, contributing to our mission of advancing renewable chemistry.

What You'll Do

• Act as the technical product owner for Flowrence® modules and custom-made modules, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers to maintain updated documentation and quality protocols.
• Participate in product/module design reviews to ensure manufacturability and alignment with supplier capabilities.
• Manage the Technical Construction Dossier files, including product version control and compliance documentation.
• Lead quality control initiatives for key components, addressing quality issues and coordinating with suppliers for resolution.
• Conduct regular evaluations of key suppliers to discuss quality performance and improvement plans.
• Initiate and lead improvement programs based on quality control outputs and customer feedback.
• Provide support to internal customers regarding module applications and resolve any complaints.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial production or research organizations.
• Strong understanding of product engineering, design, and quality management.
• Proven experience in supplier interaction and quality control measures.
• Familiarity with catalysis and polymer chemistry is a plus.
• Experience with ERP and product data management software.
• Proficient in MS Office 365.
• Fluent in English.
