Senior ETRM Platform Product Owner - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior ETRM Platform Product Owner to join our team remotely. In this role, you will take full ownership of our ETRM platform, driving its strategy and ensuring it aligns with our business goals.

What You'll Do

• Own the ETRM platform strategy and target operating model across trading, operations, risk, and finance.
• Lead the ETRM selection process with a platform-first mindset, focusing on APIs, data models, and integration maturity.
• Drive vendor and system integrator engagement, including structured demos and technical proof-of-capability.
• Define and enforce clear system-of-record principles, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Manage scope boundaries and backlog decisions, determining what belongs in the ETRM versus external services.
• Collaborate closely with architecture and engineering teams to define integration contracts and standards.
• Lead scenario-based UAT, defect triage, and go-live readiness activities.
• Ensure strong controls are built in from day one, including permissions and operational resilience.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with energy trading systems or ETRMs, demonstrating true ownership responsibility.
• Hands-on experience supporting natural gas trading and physical workflows end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of gas scheduling and logistics concepts.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional delivery from requirements to go-live.
• Technical literacy to evaluate APIs, data models, and integration patterns.
• Experience with scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Proven track record in leading datacenter-to-cloud migrations or hybrid infrastructure transitions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Previous experience in a flat organizational structure.
