Senior Endpoint Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Endpoint Engineer - Remote to join our innovative team at Wave. As the largest financial institution in Senegal, we are dedicated to making Africa the first cashless continent. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing our enterprise endpoint infrastructure, ensuring that our systems are robust and efficient.

What You'll Do

• Own the entire endpoint stack and administration of enterprise infrastructure.
• Design and maintain endpoint management infrastructure for various operating systems.
• Implement industry-standard and bespoke software solutions for endpoint management.
• Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies for fleet management.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for deployment across multiple clouds.
• Drive adoption of emerging technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience.
• Work remotely with aligned working hours to GMT +/- 1.
• Travel to Africa for immersion trips annually.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an Endpoint Engineer.
• Experience managing multiple international sites with numerous endpoints.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% in the first year.
• Proficient in programming and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Powershell).
• Hands-on experience with Jamf PRO and cloud identity providers.
• Experience with open source endpoint management tools.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Certifications in relevant technologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices for endpoint management.
