About the Role

We are seeking a Donor Stewardship and Communications Manager - Remote to join Yellowstone Forever, the official nonprofit partner of Yellowstone National Park. This role is pivotal in cultivating and sustaining meaningful relationships with our donors through strategic stewardship and impactful communications. As a Donor Stewardship and Communications Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that donor contributions have a lasting impact on the park.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement donor stewardship strategies to enhance donor engagement.
  • Oversee donor recognition programs and stewardship communications to ensure donors feel valued.
  • Collaborate with various teams to enhance donor experiences and foster a sense of community.
  • Manage donor communications, including newsletters and impact stories, to keep donors informed and engaged.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of donor engagement in the database for effective relationship management.
  • Implement systems for donor recognition and engagement to celebrate contributions.
  • Provide training for support staff in stewardship activities to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Work flexibly, either remotely or from our Bozeman, Montana office, contributing directly to the mission of Yellowstone National Park.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in donor stewardship or nonprofit communications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey the mission of Yellowstone Forever.
  • Experience managing donor recognition programs to enhance donor satisfaction.
  • Proficiency with donor databases and CRM systems for effective tracking and engagement.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve common goals.
  • A creative and data-driven approach to donor engagement, ensuring innovative strategies.
  • A commitment to Yellowstone Forever’s mission and the preservation of Yellowstone National Park.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in fundraising or nonprofit marketing.
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of environmental conservation and nonprofit sector trends.
