What You'll Do

• Direct and manage teams undertaking technical design work, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Define project briefs and scopes of work, leading bid proposals effectively.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, meeting key milestones and deliverables.
• Collaborate with teams in the UK and internationally to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Set and uphold quality assurance standards in design processes.
• Grow and develop electrical engineering capabilities within the practice.
• Utilize your comprehensive knowledge of electrical design, including LV and HV systems, to lead innovative projects.
• Engage in technical report writing throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• 4-10 years of experience in engineering consultancy, preferably with UK-based experience.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical design standards and practices.
• Strong technical leadership skills with a proven track record in multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Familiarity with HAZOP, DSEAR, and other regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions across various regions.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the water industry and knowledge of British and European standards.
• Proficiency in developing digital design tools.
• Ability to present project work at conferences or company meetings.
