Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote Position at Loka

About the Role

Join Loka as a Senior DevOps Engineer and work remotely on impactful projects. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to craft and deploy infrastructure across diverse industries. Your contributions will support initiatives like the world’s leading GenAI reading tutor and groundbreaking cancer research.

What You'll Do

• Develop technical design specifications based on functional requirements and maintain AWS Cloud applications.
• Orchestrate containers using Kubernetes to ensure seamless deployment.
• Automate operations and implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient workflows.
• Ensure security and compliance across all projects.
• Assess change implementation options and recommend the most suitable approaches with minimal assistance.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Proficiency in serverless compute, scripting, and AWS.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, AWS CDK/Terraform/CDKTF.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and database administration is a plus.
• Strong skills in Python and TypeScript.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Excellent English communication skills for global team interactions.
• Ability to work autonomously and adapt positively in a remote environment.
