About the Role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in cloud technologies and automation to enhance our infrastructure and streamline our deployment processes. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving our projects forward, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our systems.

What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with Terraform to automate provisioning and management of cloud resources.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and services.
  • Implement container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker to enhance deployment efficiency.
  • Conduct data analysis to optimize system performance and user experience.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS.
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and Shell/Bash.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and data analysis techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Argo CD for continuous delivery.
  • Knowledge of voice user interface design and conversational AI.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
