About the Role

We're hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team focused on modernizing Oman's national tax system. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale project that aims to transition from a traditional system to a fully automated, cloud-native infrastructure. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and operating a scalable infrastructure in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery, including Data Guard–based DR scenarios.
  • Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters based on Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE).
  • Automate application and infrastructure deployments to Kubernetes.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Docker.
  • Support containerized applications and services.
  • Work with MLflow and related MLOps tooling to deploy validated AI/ML models.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding and practical application of GitOps principles.
  • Experience containerizing applications using Docker.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Experience working with Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE).
