About the Role
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our banking project team. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on IT infrastructure in an on-premise environment. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our systems, leveraging your expertise in Kubernetes and other technologies.
What You'll Do
- Organize interactions and monitor vendor obligations and commitments.
- Identify and analyze system issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and maintain monitoring tools to enhance system performance.
- Participate in project activities and manage implementation processes.
- Coordinate with related departments to resolve business process disruptions.
- Support the K8s cluster and participate in the implementation of new infrastructure components.
- Update infrastructure components to the latest software versions with maximum security levels.
- Execute management directives and support overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Proficient in deploying and administering K8s clusters using kubeadm or Ansible scripts.
- Strong knowledge of CNI plugins such as Calico, Cillium, and Flannel.
- Experience with infrastructure components like Kafka, Istio, and Hashicorp Vault.
- Familiarity with SQL and database administration skills.
- Solid Linux administration skills and understanding of DevOps practices.
- Experience with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure management.
Nice to Have
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Familiarity with ELK stack and VictoriaMetrics.
- Knowledge of Redis and MongoDB.
