Senior DevOps Engineer - AWS & AI Focus (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in AWS architecture, release management, and AI technologies to enhance our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, focusing on architecture design, networking, security, and cost optimization.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Manage relational databases (RDS) and NoSQL databases like MongoDB for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Utilize AI technologies and machine learning models to improve system performance.
• Monitor system performance and reliability using tools like CloudWatch and Grafana.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems.
• Implement security best practices throughout the development and deployment process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role, focusing on AWS architecture and release management.
• Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python or Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Solid understanding of database management, including RDS and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI technologies and machine learning models.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
