About the Role

Join Semrush as a Senior Data Scientist (Remote) and be part of a dynamic team focused on leveraging AI and NLP technologies to enhance digital marketing solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with internal datasets and Semrush products to create impactful datasets and conduct experiments that improve our tools.

What You'll Do

  • Utilize internal datasets and Semrush products to create and test datasets, assessing their impact on our tools.
  • Evaluate the quality of generated text to ensure it meets user needs effectively.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement AI-driven solutions.
  • Deploy and maintain LLM-based systems in production environments.
  • Monitor ML systems using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Alertmanager.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistics, and linear algebra.
  • High proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML stacks.
  • Experience with SQL and deploying ML systems.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and Vertex AI is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Practical knowledge of RAG and building AI agents.
  • Experience with GitLab CI and batch/real-time processing.
