About the Role

Join TRM Labs as a Senior Data Engineer, specializing in Attribution Expansion. In this fully remote role, you will play a crucial part in building a safer world by leveraging blockchain analytics and AI solutions. Your expertise will help law enforcement and financial institutions combat crypto-related fraud and financial crime. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, build, and operate the data infrastructure that transforms noisy on-chain activity into reliable attribution signals at scale.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement robust data pipelines that convert noisy on-chain data into high-quality attribution labels and features.
• Collaborate with blockchain experts, data scientists, and software engineers to encode attribution algorithms into scalable data models.
• Standardize algorithm implementation and modeling in data to ensure reusability, testability, and explainability.
• Implement monitoring, data quality checks, and SLAs for attribution systems to maintain operational integrity.
• Enhance developer experience by improving templates, tooling, and CI/CD processes for attribution pipelines.

Requirements

• Proficient in SQL and Python with a strong background in data engineering.
• Experience with Airflow and handling large datasets in production environments.
• Broad knowledge of data modeling, distributed processing, and data warehousing/lakehouse.
• Familiarity with data engineering tools such as Spark, dbt, BigQuery, and Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and navigate complex problems effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience with ML infrastructure tools like MLflow or Feast.
• Interest in virtual currencies and blockchain analysis.
