Senior Data Engineer - AI-Driven Analytics Platform

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join our innovative team at Techmunity, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our AI-driven analytics platform. As a Senior Data Engineer remote, you will be responsible for transforming large volumes of operational data into strategic assets that drive our business forward.

What You'll Do

• Own the data warehouse and core models, defining how the business uses data.
• Build and maintain reliable ELT pipelines in Python and SQL as the product evolves.
• Design clean, well-structured tables for reporting, product analytics, and AI use cases.
• Implement testing, monitoring, and data quality checks to ensure teams trust the numbers.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior AI Engineer to provide datasets for forecasting and future workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer, owning a production data stack end to end.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills, including dimensional modeling, star schema, and Kimball methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Python, dbt, and orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster.
• A passion for shaping long-term architecture and writing the code to support it.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, working closely with product and engineering teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the hospitality or tech industry.
• Familiarity with AI-driven analytics.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance best practices.
