Senior Cybersecurity Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Manager to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the mission of the US Cyber Command. As a Senior Cybersecurity Manager, you will oversee a team of professionals, ensuring the security and integrity of our network systems.

What You'll Do

• Manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, planning and prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Serve as the technical authority for various projects, including planning, analysis, design, development, testing, integration, and management of networked systems.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting sensitive recommendations regarding complex cybersecurity issues.
• Oversee the design and development stages of network projects, integrating new technologies into existing systems.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses to assess and improve network security.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
• At least one year of experience in a supervisory role within cybersecurity or IT.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, customer service, and communication.
• Experience managing team projects and integrating new technologies into existing systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with federal cybersecurity policies and regulations.
• Familiarity with the Cyber Excepted Service personnel system.
• Previous experience in a mission-essential position.
