About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role focuses on ISO 27001 compliance and offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of cyber defense initiatives. As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our organization's security posture and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and drive core cyber defense activities, including security incident response, enterprise and third-party risk assessments, and vulnerability management.
  • Represent the cyber security function in senior stakeholder forums, providing leadership across day-to-day operations and strategic cyber initiatives.
  • Shape and strengthen the organization’s cyber maturity, leading ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials compliance efforts.
  • Enhance access and privileged access controls while contributing to cyber resilience, disaster recovery, and continuity planning.
  • Work closely with technical teams to prioritize and deliver remediation efforts for identified vulnerabilities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst, with a focus on ISO 27001 compliance.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience in incident response and risk management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor) are a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Cyber Essentials certification.
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with security tools and technologies.
