Senior Business Analyst - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team remotely. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your extensive experience in business analysis while working from anywhere in the world. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving project success by effectively communicating with stakeholders and delivering high-quality functional specifications.

What You'll Do

• Deliver detailed functional specifications including functional hierarchy, workflows, business rules, interface definitions, data analysis, and data mapping for clients and development teams.
• Translate customer requirements into clear User Stories, acceptance criteria, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Build, document, update, and maintain functional specifications and the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Perform gap analysis between customer requirements and application capabilities; collaborate with Architects and Developers to assess project impact.
• Work closely with Development, QA, and Production Support teams to communicate, validate, and test functionality changes.
• Support system testing, regression testing, and smoke testing activities.
• Demonstrate system enhancements to clients to ensure all business needs are met.
• Develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions (one-on-one or classroom).
• Manage multiple competing priorities through strong organization and communication.

Leadership Responsibilities

• Act as a senior member of a small team, coordinating delivery tasks, assignments, and monitoring progress.
• Participate in client and internal stakeholder meetings.
• Create, review, and facilitate discussions around business and system requirements.
• Review Help Desk tickets and responses when required.
• Prepare and review outreach communications and track outreach activities.
• Write, review, and maintain process documentation and SOPs.
• Support Weekly Agile Release Train (ART) status meetings and provide sprint and team updates.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong hands-on experience in building and managing User Stories in collaboration with customers and aligned workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technology-related field, or equivalent experience implementing software in the healthcare industry.
• Solid understanding of business analysis principles, processes, techniques, and workflows.
• Proven ability to develop use cases, functional specifications, and technical requirements.
• Strong capability to represent end-user needs within a software development environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
