Senior Backend Software Engineer - Verifiable Computing

About the Role

Eigen Labs is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our innovative team focused on building the infrastructure for a more trustworthy internet. As a Senior Backend Software Engineer remote, you will work on cutting-edge problems related to verifiable computing, contributing to the development of applications that ensure trust and accountability in digital interactions.

What You'll Do

• Design and build production-grade systems that integrate blockchain-level verifiability with offchain computation.
• Architect, implement, and scale secure, high-performance infrastructure that advances the capabilities of verifiable compute.
• Lead research in Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), such as Intel TDX, to enhance the next generation of verifiable systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and external partners to tackle complex challenges in the verifiable computing space.
• Drive clarity through experimentation and technical excellence, ensuring robust system design and implementation.

Requirements

• Strong computer science fundamentals with experience in designing scalable, reliable, and secure distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Rust and Go programming languages.
• A passion for solving ambiguous and complex problems.
• Experience with blockchain systems and verifiable computing.
• Understanding of TEEs, including Intel TDX/SGX, and their security models.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Intel TDX in GPU-accelerated environments.
• Practical experience deploying or managing cloud-based TEE systems.
