Senior Account Executive - Marketing Solutions (Remote)
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive - Marketing Solutions to join our team at LinkedIn. This remote position allows you to work flexibly while driving significant revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies. As a Senior Account Executive, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance LinkedIn's reputation as the premier media channel for marketing to professionals worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Engage and strategize with senior-level executives at client companies or agencies to demonstrate how LinkedIn can drive revenue to their business.
- Develop and cultivate deep relationships with senior executive clients at SVP, VP, and CMO levels.
- Identify new buying groups to grow client investment through consultative selling.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across Insights, Marketing, Measurement, Sponsorships, and Agency to collaborate on campaign strategy and activation.
- Investigate industry-specific information and trends, providing research to align with customer needs.
- Conceive and pitch creative marketing solutions to advertising agencies and direct clients.
- Manage sales activity from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring robust pipeline management.
- Generate revenue and meet target quotas while fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in advertising, marketing, media, and/or business development.
- 2+ years of media sales or digital media account management experience.
- Proven ability to develop authentic, senior-level relationships.
- Experience preparing sales proposals, forecasts, and account planning.
- Strong understanding of advertising technology and marketing automation.
- Ability to connect customer needs with business solutions.
- Excellent storytelling skills with insights and data.
- Demonstrated organizational strength and sales operational excellence.
Nice to Have
- Experience in both B2B and B2C selling.
- Leadership experience and a proven track record of achieving results.
- Familiarity with data-driven insights and consultative selling techniques.
