Security Researcher - Remote Web3 Security Role

About the Role

We are expanding our research capability and looking for a Security Researcher to join our team remotely. In this role, you will investigate emerging attack vectors, develop internal tooling, and contribute to public security advisories. As a Security Researcher, you will work at the frontier of Web3 security, analyzing new protocols, building custom detection systems, and pushing the boundaries of what automated analysis can catch.

What You'll Do

• Conduct in-depth research on emerging security threats and vulnerabilities in the Web3 space.
• Develop and enhance internal security tools to improve detection and response capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and protocols.
• Contribute to public security advisories and reports, sharing insights and findings with the community.
• Analyze new protocols and technologies to identify potential security weaknesses.
• Build custom detection systems tailored to specific threats and vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in security research or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Web3 technologies and security principles.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Go, or Rust.
• Familiarity with automated analysis tools and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with blockchain technologies and smart contracts.
• Publications or contributions to security advisories.
• Knowledge of threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.
