Security Officer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are hiring a Security Officer to join our team at The Groucho Club, one of London’s most renowned private members’ clubs. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant environment, ensuring the safety and security of our members and employees. As a Security Officer remote, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

What You'll Do

• Maintain the safety, security, and wellbeing of both our members and employees.
• Safeguard the premises and uphold the Club’s excellent reputation.
• Act as a friendly, professional ambassador for the Club, positively shaping member experiences.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both members and colleagues.
• Respond promptly and effectively to any security incidents, accurately recording and reporting them.
• Participate actively in daily team meetings and communications.
• Use good judgment and discretion in all interactions, including supporting colleagues with situations such as member intoxication.
• Monitor and review CCTV to ensure the safety and smooth running of the Club.

Requirements

• Outgoing, confident, and personable, with a passion for engaging with people.
• Smart, well-presented, and professional at all times.
• Hold a valid SIA Security Guard licence.
• Solid understanding of security operations and procedures.
• Able to maintain professional composure in challenging or unusual situations.
• Comfortable using computers; basic skills required, more is a bonus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Committed to delivering outstanding customer service to both members and colleagues.
• Skilled at interacting successfully across social levels and diverse values.
• Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and adapt to changing situations.
