About the Role

We are seeking a passionate SAP ABAP Developer remote to join Penguin Random House, a leader in the publishing industry. As an SAP ABAP Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality SAP ABAP solutions within ECC 6.0. What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions, ensuring high quality and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technology solutions that meet business needs.
• Utilize your expertise in dialogue programming, SAP Forms/SAP Script, ALV reporting, IDOC processing, and function modules.
• Engage in problem-solving and troubleshooting to enhance system functionality.
• Work primarily with SAP ECC 6.0 and modules such as AR, AP, SD, FI, and MM.

Requirements

• 4 - 5 years of recent and relevant experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong understanding of SAP ECC 6.0 and its modules.
• Hands-on experience in coding and technical implementation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Problem-solving mindset and a focus on delivering high-quality technology solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with S/4 HANA.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
