About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Sales Specialist to join our team at Astellas Pharma. This Sales Specialist remote position is designed for individuals who are passionate about transforming innovative science into value for patients. You will be responsible for promoting specific brand(s) within your territory, achieving sales goals, and enhancing market share while adhering to ethical and compliance requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement brand promotional plans tailored to your territory's market situation.
  • Build long-term partnerships with external stakeholders through daily visits and impactful solutions.
  • Provide timely updates and detailed brand information to stakeholders, responding quickly to their comments and market insights.
  • Analyze brand performance and market intelligence, collaborating closely with marketing and key account management teams.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools to gather insights and competitive information, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Prepare and participate in internal meetings and training sessions, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Pass annual certifications related to product training, sales skills, and digital promotional tools.
  • Act as a bridge between Astellas and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a medical or pharmaceutical field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of relevant working experience, with a strong preference for oncology experience.
  • Skills: Excellent sales skills, analytical problem-solving abilities, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Culture: Proactive, teamwork-oriented, with a commitment to integrity and transparency.
  • Computer and presentation skills are a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in oncology.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools and data analysis.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
