Sales Representative - Beverage Industry (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Representative - Beverage Industry (Remote) to join Columbia Distributing. As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in advancing and securing beverage sales in the market. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while engaging with clients and driving sales growth.

What You'll Do

• Manage inventory expenses in accordance with company policy.
• Interact respectfully with inter-company departments, suppliers, and customers.
• Support the rotating and merchandising of products.
• Complete all required training to improve performance and effectiveness.
• Maintain a high level of industry knowledge regarding beer, non-alcoholic beverages, food journals, trends, and market share.
• Create opportunities and develop programs appropriate to your customer base.
• Submit all required reporting, including preplans, trackers, surveys, and market surveys by the due date.
• Effectively sell the Columbia Distributing portfolio in all assigned accounts.
• Achieve sales and distribution goals by executing monthly, quarterly, and annual business objectives.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Sales Fundamental training and certification required upon hiring.
• Cicerone level one certification required within one year of start date.
• A minimum of two years of previous sales experience in the beverage industry.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous grocery or retail experience.
