About the Role

We're hiring a Sales Development Manager to join our team at Greene King, the UK's leading pub company and brewer. As a Sales Development Manager, you'll have the opportunity to work remotely while driving sales and fostering relationships with Free Trade customers. This role is crucial in delivering our Free Trade Sales strategy and maximizing profitability across our designated territory.

What You'll Do

• Blend account management with new business initiatives to enhance customer relationships.
• Act as a commercial partner to Free Trade customers, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
• Accountable for delivering the Free Trade Sales strategy, utilizing effective customer account management techniques.
• Apply creative methods to support existing customers and acquire new accounts.
• Manage your territory to maximize promotional activities and drive sales growth.
• Provide financial support to Free Trade accounts, ensuring profitability and sustainability.
• Continuously improve relationships with current and prospective accounts through regular engagement and support.
• Utilize high-level data and financial analysis skills to inform decision-making and strategy development.

Requirements

• Experience as a Sales Manager with a proven track record of ownership and accountability.
• Strong commercial skills essential for maximizing profitability in a competitive market.
• High-level data and financial analysis skills to support strategic initiatives.
• Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and agreements.
• On-trade experience is advantageous, providing insight into the industry.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the hospitality sector, particularly within the pub industry.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
