As a Sales Development Intern, you will gain valuable experience and insights into the technology sector, working alongside a globally distributed team.

What You'll Do

• Nurture prospects from early-stage interest to becoming qualified leads.
• Research new accounts to understand how InfluxDB can add value to their DevOps, IoT, AI, or Data Science use cases.
• Create a high volume of daily outbound outreach to senior-level contacts within your assigned target accounts.
• Engage with contacts through email, phone, social media, and video.
• Passionately articulate how InfluxDB can make a significant difference to new customers.
• Learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and sales tools.
• Receive mentorship from experienced sales professionals to enhance your skill set for future sales opportunities.
• Utilize tools like ChatGPT or Google Gemini to create compelling prospecting emails.

Requirements

• Pursuing a 4-year Undergraduate Degree with a GPA of 3.0 or above, a 2-year Master’s Degree, or a Doctorate degree.
• A passion for technology and a technical aptitude to master sales tools.
• Proven ability to learn new technology quickly and adapt to changing needs.
• Strong analytical skills, enthusiasm, drive, and confidence.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills to engage with all levels of an organization.

Nice to Have

• Experience using sales tools and CRM software.
• Familiarity with the technology sector and its trends.
• Previous internship experience in sales or a related field.
