What You'll Do
- Provide exceptional service to customers from initial contact through delivery and beyond.
- Utilize professional communication skills to establish relationships with a diverse clientele.
- Collaborate with our Interior Design Consultant to enhance customer selections and complete room looks.
- Offer expertise in products, services, and financing based on customer needs.
- Engage clients using Havertys' customer relationship management system for effective follow-up.
- Maintain knowledge of various furniture styles and products to better assist customers.
Requirements
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer communications simultaneously.
- Positive and engaging personality with a creative flair.
- Proficient in resolving customer objections and ensuring satisfaction.
- Familiarity with furniture styles preferred but not required.
- Computer proficiency, including email and MS Office; tablet/iPad operation preferred.
- High School diploma or GED required; college education or relevant retail experience preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience in interior design.
- Previous retail experience, especially in a commissioned sales role.
