Sales Associate - Retail Position

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Sales Associate - Remote to join our team at United Pacific. In this role, you will assist in the operation of our retail store located in Joshua Tree, California, ensuring a safe, customer-focused, and profitable environment.

What You'll Do

• Handle daily cash transactions and maintain accurate cash registers.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of lighting and fixtures to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Ensure the security of all inventory and currency to prevent theft and inventory shrinkage.
• Learn to operate a cash register, computer console, and other relevant equipment.
• Work under the supervision of the Store Manager, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Assist in stocking and maintaining inventory levels, including lifting and carrying items as needed.
• Occasionally climb ladders to store or retrieve materials and signage.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently for extended periods.
• Must provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
• Physical ability to stand or walk for at least 8 hours and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Willingness to work irregular shifts, including overnight and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work in small spaces and perform tasks indoors and outdoors as needed.

Nice to Have

• Previous retail or sales experience.
• Familiarity with cash handling and customer service.
• Basic computer skills.
