Restaurant Receptionist - Exciting New Venue Opening

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Restaurant Receptionist to join our team at the new venue opening in Spring 2026 at the iconic Olympia London. This Restaurant Receptionist role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about hospitality and eager to make a positive impact. As a Restaurant Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests warmly and act as the first point of contact for the venue.
• Manage bookings and reservations using OpenTable.
• Handle guest enquiries in person, by phone, and via email in a professional manner.
• Coordinate with the restaurant, bar, and management teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Maintain an organised reception desk and accurate booking system.
• Assist with guest requests, special occasions, and general front-of-house administration.
• Ensure all guests feel welcomed and looked after from arrival to departure.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role in hospitality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Professional, friendly, and guest-focused demeanour.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Experience using booking systems, ideally OpenTable.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Nice to Have

• Additional languages spoken.
• Experience in high-end dining establishments.
• Knowledge of local attractions and events.
