About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join Leaf Hospitality. This remote Restaurant General Manager position allows you to lead our exceptional team while managing operations at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Lincoln. You will orchestrate a symphony of service, style, and culinary excellence, ensuring that every guest experience is unforgettable.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the restaurant and bar operations at DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln, ensuring the highest service standards are met.
  • Lead a passionate team, providing training and development to promote excellence and low turnover.
  • Manage labor costs and produce staff rotas in line with the payroll budget.
  • Control stock and wastage levels, providing relevant training to support these efforts.
  • Review and manage guest feedback, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to enhance service quality.
  • Maintain strong communication between front-of-house and back-of-house departments.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement changes where necessary to improve service.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefs and delegate tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and licensing laws.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a branded hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of current food and beverage trends.
  • Previous experience in event planning and execution.
