What You'll Do
- Provide direct support and advocacy for individuals living in ADAPT residential facilities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence and personal development.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment plans and implement individualized program goals.
- Document daily activities and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond to crisis situations and medical emergencies, providing first aid as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Six months of related experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding the rights of individuals supported.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a similar role within social services.
- Certification as Approved Medication Administration Personnel (AMAP).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
