About the Role

What You'll Do

  • Provide direct support and advocacy for individuals living in ADAPT residential facilities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence and personal development.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment plans and implement individualized program goals.
  • Document daily activities and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Respond to crisis situations and medical emergencies, providing first aid as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Six months of related experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding the rights of individuals supported.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a similar role within social services.
  • Certification as Approved Medication Administration Personnel (AMAP).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
