Remote Writer & Editor - B2B Technology Content

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote Writer & Editor to join our team at LaunchSquad. In this role, you will help innovative B2B technology brands tell their stories through compelling content. You will work in a flexible, hybrid environment, with the option to work remotely or in one of our offices located in San Francisco, New York, Boston, or Chicago.

What You'll Do

• Write and edit a variety of content types, including long-form articles, white papers, blog posts, case studies, and social media copy.
• Interview executives and subject-matter experts to develop engaging storylines and industry perspectives.
• Develop and manage editorial calendars that align with client goals and program strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver strategic communications programs centered around original content.
• Ensure all content is optimized for SEO and tailored for various digital channels.
• Balance multiple projects and deadlines across 4-5 accounts in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 4-7+ years of experience in journalism, content marketing, or communications, with a focus on B2B technology.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your writing and editing skills, particularly in storytelling.
• Experience in interviewing executives and translating complex technical information into accessible content.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client projects and priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with SEO/GEO optimization and digital publishing platforms.
• A flexible, team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.

Nice to Have

• Experience with content strategy development.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, cybersecurity, and DevOps.
