Remote Vice President of Commercial & Channel Sales
About the Role
We are seeking a Remote Vice President of Commercial & Channel Sales to join our dynamic team at DNSFilter. This pivotal role is essential for driving our sales strategy and ensuring the growth of our commercial business. As the VP, you will unify our direct commercial sales and channel partner motions, leading a high-performance sales culture that thrives on data-driven decision-making and accountability.
What You'll Do
- Own revenue performance across DNSFilter's commercial business, including SMB, mid-market, and enterprise accounts.
- Lead, develop, and mentor high-performing direct sales teams to ensure effective pipeline generation, deal management, and forecasting.
- Establish rigorous pipeline visibility and set KPIs that drive predictable growth, focusing on win rates and rep productivity.
- Evaluate existing sales talent and instill a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing to align inbound strength with a disciplined outbound strategy.
- Lead the VAR and VAD channel strategy, focusing on building strong relationships with security-focused partners.
- Oversee and scale a Channel Account Manager (CAM) team, initially managing three CAMs and expanding over time.
- Design and execute co-selling initiatives that enhance partner engagement and revenue growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology sector.
- Strong track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with a focus on executive-level partnerships.
- Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with company goals.
- Experience in managing both direct and channel sales motions.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to sales management.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to work in a remote environment and adapt to varying time zones.
