Remote Tech Lead - Digital Transformation Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Tech Lead to join our innovative team at Jobgether. As a Remote Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital transformation and innovation. This position offers the opportunity to lead a talented squad while ensuring high-quality deliverables in a fully remote environment.

What You'll Do

• Support the discovery phase driven by Architecture with technical analysis, risk assessment, estimates, and PoCs.
• Convert architectural decisions into execution plans, technical backlogs, and engineering standards.
• Lead the squad technically, overseeing code reviews, practices, guidelines, and daily engineering decisions.
• Orchestrate integrations and dependencies between teams, ensuring predictability and traceability.
• Implement and sustain microservices following architecture standards and best practices.
• Develop, maintain, and evolve REST APIs ensuring proper documentation with Swagger / OpenAPI.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes in containerized environments.
• Implement messaging solutions using Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering in critical transactional platforms and complex integrations.
• Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and corporate governance.
• Strong execution mindset with a focus on quality and operational excellence.
• Experience in backend application development using .NET 8 and .NET 9.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GKE.
• Develop unit tests using xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest, applying mocking techniques.
• Use Entity Framework Core for data access and persistence.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle).

Nice to Have

• Knowledge in payment methods and billing with practical experience in journeys and integrations.
• Actively participate in Scrum / Kanban ceremonies.
• Contribute to story refinement and estimation using Story Points and T-Shirt Size.
