What You'll Do

• Lead high-impact projects by planning and executing complex engineering initiatives across multiple teams.
• Design and implement scalable software solutions that meet the demands of our growing platform.
• Set the technical vision and roadmap for critical areas of our technology infrastructure.
• Drive the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and high-quality engineering processes.
• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering their growth and development within the team.
• Coordinate technical efforts across squads and departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Influence and cultivate a robust engineering culture that prioritizes ownership and excellence.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a product company (SaaS, fintech, marketplace).
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin, with a strong understanding of backend architecture and APIs.
• Experience with AI technologies and a passion for staying updated on industry trends.
• Strong leadership skills, capable of managing technical objectives in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English; French is a plus.
• Ability to think beyond code, with a product mindset and a proactive approach to improvements.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as TypeScript and Vue.js.
• Knowledge of data processing tools like BigQuery and Spark.
