About the Role
We're hiring a Remote Software Engineer to join our innovative team at xAI. In this role, you will build cutting-edge software, services, and frameworks that empower our Network Development Engineers. As a Remote Software Engineer, you will tackle all facets of network management, including metric collection, configuration, zero-touch provisioning, monitoring, and auto-remediation. Your contributions will drive automation-first solutions for xAI’s production and ancillary networks, supporting our mission of accelerating human scientific discovery through AI.
What You'll Do
- Develop extensible tools and streamline complex processes to enhance network management.
- Implement automation solutions that ensure rock-solid reliability across xAI’s networks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver impactful software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software engineering.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on networking software and services.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Experience with network protocols and management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
