Remote ServiceNow Solution Architect - Federal Government Focus
About the Role
Join Accenture Federal Services as a Remote ServiceNow Solution Architect and play a crucial role in enhancing the capabilities of the US federal government. In this position, you will leverage your expertise in ServiceNow to lead the architecture and design of our CMDB and Discovery implementation. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of government operations.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end technical approach for CMDB and Discovery implementations, ensuring alignment with CSDM and data governance.
- Configure Discovery/MID Servers and ensure integrations support audit-readiness, security, and operational processes.
- Utilize your deep knowledge of ServiceNow to enhance incident, change, and asset management processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment of ServiceNow solutions.
- Provide hands-on guidance and mentoring to junior team members in ServiceNow best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with ServiceNow, including 3–5+ years leading CMDB & Discovery implementations.
- Extensive knowledge of CSDM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Integrations.
- Hands-on experience with MID Server deployment and credential vaults.
- Proven ability to integrate with SCCM/Intune, VMware, AWS/Azure/GCP, and other platforms.
- Strong data modeling and normalization skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL v4 and compliance requirements (SOX, ISO 27001).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Service Mapping, Cloud Discovery, and container/K8s discovery.
- Performance tuning for large environments and Discovery scheduling.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript and REST/SOAP integrations.
- Experience creating operational dashboards and CMDB Health scorecards.
- Additional certifications such as ServiceNow CIS - Discovery or ITIL v4 Foundation.
