About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Senior User Experience Designer to join our innovative team at Virtru. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the user experience of our data protection applications, ensuring that security does not come at the cost of usability. You will collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to understand customer needs and create intuitive designs that enhance our platform's functionality.

What You'll Do

  • Design user interfaces and experiences for our suite of data protection applications.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a User Experience Designer or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX design projects and processes.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
  • Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the security or data protection industry.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
