Remote Senior Software Engineer - Ruby on Rails & React

About the Role

We are looking for a Remote Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and redefine the Commercial Real Estate industry. In this role, you will create exceptional software products that meet customer needs and drive innovation. Your expertise in Ruby on Rails and React will be essential as you collaborate with product teams to build high-quality backend and frontend features.

What You'll Do

• Build and launch excellent software by understanding customer needs and engineering elegant solutions.
• Make sound technical and architectural decisions that balance immediate needs with long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate enterprise needs into scalable solutions.
• Contribute to a strong engineering culture by mentoring junior engineers and conducting thorough code reviews.
• Establish standards for code quality, testing, and technical decision-making.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product software development experience in SaaS or enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and React, with an emphasis on backend development.
• Ability to own complex problems and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Strong technical judgment with clear communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A collaborative mindset with a desire to mentor through problem-solving.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices.
