About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Rocket Money. As a key player in our organization, you will work on innovative projects that significantly impact our clients' financial journeys. This Remote Senior Software Engineer position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with a talented team.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development of user-facing web applications and CRM systems for clients interested in home ownership.
  • Build internal tools that enhance the efficiency of licensed mortgage bankers and consultants.
  • Design and implement data pipelines for operationalizing data across the company.
  • Engage in greenfield development projects, contributing to the evolution of our platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate existing systems with new solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer.
  • Proficiency in technologies such as Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript, and Docker.
  • Experience with cloud services like AWS and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
  • Strong understanding of database management with Postgres.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Kafka, Confluent, C#, .Net, and Terraform.
  • Experience in the financial technology sector.
  • Previous involvement in greenfield projects.
