About the Role

We are looking for a Remote Senior Python Software Engineer to join our innovative Analytics team at Bloomreach. As a key player in our mission to revolutionize personalization, you will be instrumental in developing backend systems that support our AI-driven platform. You will work on features that enhance multi-cloud data exports and analytics capabilities, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust Python backend services that power our analytics platform.
  • Own and evolve multi-cloud export pipelines integrating with AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob Storage, and SFTP.
  • Focus on resilience, observability, and performance to handle large volumes of customer data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features that enhance our product offerings.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Python software engineering, with a strong focus on backend development.
  • Proficiency in distributed systems and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with data analytics and handling large datasets.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices.
