About the Role
We are seeking a Remote Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Accenture Federal Services. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the security posture of the US federal government, ensuring that our nation's systems are robust and secure. As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain frameworks and libraries that support zero trust authentication and authorization.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement reusable frameworks and APIs for zero trust security.
- Create comprehensive documentation and developer guides to facilitate integration with security services.
- Implement fine-grained authorization patterns such as entitlements and row-level security.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure compliance with security requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on secure coding practices.
- Research and recommend improvements in zero trust and identity/access management technologies.
Requirements
- 4 years of experience as a Cyber Security Engineer with a focus on automation and platform engineering.
- 3 years of experience in designing and implementing security controls and continuous monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of government regulatory frameworks such as NIST SP 800-53 and FedRAMP.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.
- Proficiency in using source code repositories and CI/CD pipelines like Bitbucket and GitHub.
- Expertise in implementing controls for cloud and DevSecOps services.
- Experience with log collection tools like Splunk for analyzing security-relevant anomalies.

- Expert proficiency in incident response and forensic analysis techniques.
- Experience with security tools such as Fortify and Prisma Cloud.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex technical information.

Who Will Succeed Here
