What You'll Do
- Design and implement Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with a focus on security.
- Navigate the Government of Canada Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) process for cloud-based applications.
- Implement automated security scanning and security controls within CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply modern application security principles to custom software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in a relevant field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a software development environment.
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and security controls.
- At least two (2) years of experience implementing automated security scanning.
- Hands-on experience with application security principles in recent software releases.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud security frameworks.
- Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
- Familiarity with AI-enabled security tools.
