What You'll Do

  • Design and implement Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with a focus on security.
  • Navigate the Government of Canada Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) process for cloud-based applications.
  • Implement automated security scanning and security controls within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Apply modern application security principles to custom software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into the development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a software development environment.
  • Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and security controls.
  • At least two (2) years of experience implementing automated security scanning.
  • Hands-on experience with application security principles in recent software releases.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud security frameworks.
  • Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled security tools.
