About the Role
We are seeking a Remote Proposal Manager to join CAI, a professional services company with nearly 800 employees worldwide. This role is crucial for our Life Sciences and Mission Critical industries, where delivering critical solutions in high-stakes environments is essential. As a Remote Proposal Manager, you will assist in managing all aspects of proposal development and bid submissions, ensuring our proposals meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with Practice Leaders, business development, and operations teams to develop and manage proposal responses.
- Review and measure the quality of proposals written by others.
- Participate in continuous process improvement duties, including after-action reviews and proposal process scoring.
- Lead the proposal development process from creation to bid submission.
- Collect, analyze, and communicate metrics and Key Performance Indicators for proposals.
- Potentially lead part of the Proposal Support Team.
Requirements
- BA or BS in English, liberal arts, business, engineering, marketing, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in proposal development, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to work flexible schedules and shift priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with CRM databases is desired.

- Experience with Adobe and Microsoft program templates.
