Full Stack Engineer III - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Full Stack Engineer III remote position at AJ Bell, where you will be working on our award-winning Investcentre platform. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a high-performance engineering team and is passionate about continuous improvement. As a Full Stack Engineer III remote, you will contribute to designing and delivering high-quality products that make investing easier for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop services and APIs using C#, .NET Core, MongoDB, and SQL.
• Utilize your 3-4 years of experience in web development with frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Implement HTTP-based APIs and RESTful services with JSON, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Participate in Agile methodologies, including SCRUM and SAFe, to enhance team performance.
• Contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines and engage in Test Driven Development practices.
• Work with containerization tools such as Docker and maintain cloud-based solutions on AWS.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Embrace a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of commercial experience in full stack development.
• Strong technical background in developing services and APIs with C#, .NET Core, and database technologies.
• Experience with web development frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools.
• Understanding of cloud-based solutions, particularly AWS.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly motivated with a strong drive for success.
• Experience in e-commerce or financial services is desirable.

Nice to Have

• Experience with domain-driven design and MVC.
• Knowledge of Entity Framework Core.
• Familiarity with developing high-performing web pages.
