About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Product Consultant to join our dynamic team at Apply Digital. As a Remote Product Consultant, you will lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of our web platforms across sports, media, and entertainment. This role is pivotal in ensuring our websites are engaging, high-performing, and aligned with business goals such as audience growth, monetization, and brand storytelling.

What You'll Do

  • Take ownership of the full product lifecycle for one or more web platforms, including marketing sites and fan-facing event experiences.
  • Define and maintain a product vision and roadmap that aligns with business objectives.
  • Prioritize features and improvements using data, fan feedback, and business impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Engineering, and Marketing to create scalable digital experiences.
  • Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage backlogs, coordinate releases, and track dependencies across teams to deliver features on time.
  • Define success metrics and use analytics to continuously improve engagement and retention.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders, communicating progress and aligning teams around shared objectives.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role, with ownership of web or digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with modern web technologies and CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful).
  • Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
  • Experience in sports, media, or consumer digital products is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of personalization, subscriptions, e-commerce, or advertising-supported models.
  • Experience with analytics tools (GA, Adobe, Amplitude).
  • Exposure to accessibility (WCAG), SEO, and performance optimization.
