Remote Performance Application Engineer - Intelligent Factory

Intrinsic is seeking a Remote Performance Application Engineer to join our innovative team focused on transforming industrial robotics. As a key player in our mission, you will help redefine the capabilities of automation solutions through advanced AI and data integration. This Remote Performance Application Engineer role is pivotal in ensuring our systems meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

What You'll Do

• Lead the definition and execution of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for our automation solutions.
• Oversee human-in-the-loop (HITL) testing to validate system performance prior to deployment.
• Own end-to-end process improvement and cycle time optimization for robotic cells.
• Define test blueprints for Intelligent Factory (IF) Cell and Line HITL tests.
• Actively perform and supervise HITL tests to ensure systems meet rigorous cycle time and reliability standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical background in Robotics Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Foundational understanding of industrial automation with a strong desire to learn and contribute to their application in manufacturing environments.
• Programming proficiency with C++ and/or Python.
• Experience with data visualization tools or performance analysis tools.
• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant engineering role, particularly in robotics or automation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with machine learning techniques applied to robotics.
• Familiarity with simulation software for robotics.
• Knowledge of performance metrics and optimization strategies.
