About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Payroll Manager to join our team in the US PEO environment. As a key player in our organization, you will oversee multi-state payroll operations, ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations and benefits administration. What You'll Do
- Manage and oversee payroll operations for multiple states, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Lead a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement payroll policies and procedures that align with company objectives.
- Utilize automated timekeeping systems and payroll management software, including SAP, to streamline processes.
- Analyze payroll data and generate reports to provide insights into payroll operations and compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in payroll management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a PEO or multi-state payroll environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance and regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll management software, such as SAP, and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in HRIS and payroll reporting is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
